Iron Stearate, also known as Ferric Stearate, Stearic Acid Iron(3+) salt, Iron(3+) Octadecenoate, Iron(3+) Trioctadecanoate, and Ferric Octadecanoate, has the chemical formula C 54 H 105 FeO 6 . It appears as a light brown powder with no odor. It is insoluble in Water, but soluble in Alcohol, and Acids at ambient conditions.
