Potassium Nitrate Crystal ACS Grade
Potassium Nitrate, also known as Nitre, Nitrate of potash, Nitric acid potassium salt, and Saltpeter, has the chemical formula KNO 3 . It appears as odorless white to dirty gray hygroscopic granules or crystalline powder and is soluble in Water at ambient conditions. It possesses a saline pungent taste. When heated to decomposition it emits very toxic fumes of Nitrogen Oxides and Dipotassium Oxide.
