Ammonium Acetate 0.1% Solution
Ammonium Acetate, also known as Spirit of Mindererus and Ammonium Ethanoate, has the chemical formula NH 4 CH 3 CO 2 . At ambient conditions, it appears as a white crystalline solid with hygroscopic nature. The neutralization of Acetic Acid with Ammonium Carbonate or the saturation of Glacial Acetic Acid with Ammonia generates Ammonium Acetate. At room temperature, its 0.1% solution possesses <1% of Ammonium Acetate by weight and appears as a clear, colorless liquid with no odor. Ammonium Acetate, 0.1% Solution, Lab Grade is ideal for routine lab activities involving chromatography, analytical reagents, titration, and volumetric solutions.
