Calcium Chloride 1.0M, 500mL

Calcium chloride is a calcium and chlorine-based chemical compound. It is highly volatile and is readily soluble in water. It is a solid salt that behaves like a normal ionic halide at ambient temperature. It can be synthesized directly from the limestone, but is also manufactured in huge quantities as a by-product of the Solvay process. It must be kept in tightly sealed containers due to its hygroscopic nature. Calcium Chloride, 1.0M solution is prepared by dissolving 111 grams of Anhydrous CaCl 2 in 1 Liter purified water. Calcium Chloride, 1.0M in a convenient packing of 500 mL poly bottle is highly suitable for commercial, and industrial applications.
