Fehling's Solution Alkaline B
Fehling’s Solution is an alkaline solution that can identify the presence of aldehydes or groups containing any aldehyde functional group. Fehling Solution Alkaline B contains 34.6% by weight of Sodium Potassium Tartrate, Tetrahydrate, 4.5% by weight of Sodium Hydroxide and balanced quantity of Water. Before using for Fehling’s test, it is mixed with an equal volume of Fehling Solution A at the required time. Due to its high purity, Fehling’s Solution Alkaline B is highly recommended for use in laboratory testing.
