Chromium Chloride Granular Analytical Reagent Grade
Chromium Chloride, also known as Chromium(III) Chloride Hexahydrate, has the chemical formula Cl 3 CrH 12 O 6 or CrCl 3 -6H 2 O. It is odorless, hygroscopic in nature, and soluble in water at ambient conditions. Moreover, it appears as a dark green solid at room temperature. It is not combustible but enhances combustion of other substances and can undergo thermal decomposition to produce toxic Hydrogen Chloride gas. The Analytical Reagent Grade is generally equivalent to the American Chemical Society (ACS) Grade and is acceptable for use in analytical applications and research laboratories.
