Boric Acid, also known as Orthoboric Acid, Boracic Acid, Boron Hydroxide, and Borofax has the chemical formula BH 3 O 3 . The solution of Boric Acid appears as a pink-colored odorless solution. Boric Acid is a weakly acidic hydrate of Boric Oxide with mild antifungal, antiseptic and antiviral properties. Boric Acid, 1 Molar Solution contains 61.833g Boric acid powder dissolved in 1L of distilled water. Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals.
