Ammonium Citrate Dibasic Lab Grade

Ammonium Citrate Dibasic, also known as Ammonium Hydrogencitrate and Diammonium Hydrogen Citrate, is an inorganic compound having the chemical formula C 6 H 8 O 7 .2H 3 N or C 6 H 14 N 2 O 7 . It appears as colorless/white granular solid or crystals and is soluble in water at ambient conditions. Commonly, it is prepared by reacting citric acid with aqueous ammonia. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. The Lab Grade is also known as Laboratory Reagent (LR) and Chemically Pure (CP). Because of its high purity, Ammonium Citrate Dibasic, Lab Grade is suitable for labs and commercial purposes.
