This MCT oil comes exclusively from coconut oil. MCT stands for medium chain triglycerides, which make up roughly 15% of coconut oil. The longer chain saturated fatty acids (C12, C14 and C16) that sit alongside them in coconut oil are removed to leave the medium chain fraction. It’s a liquid with CAS 73398-61-5 and a minimum assay of 99%. The grade is USP/FCC (Food), so it complies with the purity standards set by the United States Pharmacopeia and suits food and pharmacy use. It’s Kosher and Halal certified, and you’ll find a GMO Free statement on file. The Product Manuals tab also lists the Safety Data Sheet, Technical Data Sheet, Allergen and Food Grade statements, and Certificates of Analysis.
