Starch Indicator, 1% For Iodine Titration
Starch Indicator appears as clear to opaque colorless liquid with no odor. It is soluble in Water at ambient conditions and is generally used for iodometric titrations. Starch Indicator, 1% Solution contains 1% by weight of Starch Indicator in 99% by volume of Water. Starch is generally used as an indicator for the reduction-oxidation titrations where Triiodide is present. It forms a dark blue-black complex with Triiodide. This solution is used in the Iodine-Starch test that detects the presence of Starch or Iodine. Due to its high purity Starch Indicator, 1% Solution is highly recommended for labs and commercial applications.
