Ferric Chloride solution is the hydrate of Iron(3+) Chloride that appears as colorless to dark brown with faint Hydrochloric Acid odor and is soluble in Water at ambient conditions. Ferric Chloride 29% solution is composed of ~30% pure Iron(III) Chloride with ~70% purified water. Laboratory grade is also known as the Chemically Pure (CP) and Laboratory Reagent (LR).
