Details

Cobalt Acetate, also known as Cobaltous Acetate Tetrahydrate and Cobalt Diacetate Tetrahydrate, has the chemical formula Co(CH 3 COO) 2 -4H 2 O or C 4 H 14 CoO 8 . It appears as Pink to red hygroscopic powder, granules, and/or chunks at room temperature. It is odorless and moderately soluble in water at ambient conditions. It is a crystalline source of Cobalt that decomposes to Cobalt Oxide on thermal treatment. Laboratory grade is also known as the Chemically Pure (CP) and Laboratory Reagent (LR). Chromium Trioxide, Lab Grade is ideal for educational/training institutes, laboratory use, and commercial applications.
