Details
Zinc Phosphate Stripping Solution
Zinc Phosphate Stripping Solution is primarily used for stripping Zinc Phosphate and such other coatings at the place of toxic Chromic Acid solution. It is a combination of Sodium Hydroxide (~31% by weight), Tetrasodium Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (abbreviated EDTA) (~1.37% by weight), and Water (~67% by weight). This solution appears as a colorless liquid with no odor and is freely soluble in Water at ambient conditions. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. The Lab Grade is also known as Laboratory Reagent (LR) and Chemically Pure (CP). It is recommended for educational institutes, research labs, and commercial applications.
