Ammonium Iron(III) Sulfate, commonly known as Ferric Ammonium Sulfate (FAS) or Iron Alum, is a double salt of the Alums class of compounds with the general formula AB(SO 4 ) 2 ·12H 2 O. It has the chemical formula FeNH 4 (SO 4 ) 2 ·12H 2 O. It has the appearance of octahedral crystals that are faintly violet. Ferric Ammonium Sulfate Saturated Solution contains 73% contents of this salt with 27% contents of purified water. Ferric Ammonium Sulfate Saturated Solution is highly recommended for commercial, industrial, and lab applications.
