Silver Nitrate Crystal Lab Grade

Silver Nitrate , AgNO 3 , is an inorganic chemical that appears as colorless, clear crystal ambient temperature. When exposed to light, in the presence of organic material, it can change color to grey or grayish-black. It has a high solubility in water and is inherently corrosive. It is the main ingredient in Silver Thiosulfate Solution (STS), which is commonly used to keep plant's blossoms and flowers from falling off. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade.
