Ferrous Chloride, Lab Grade
Ferrous Chloride, also known as Iron Dichloride Tetrahydrate and Iron(II) Chloride Tetrahydrate, usually appears as tetrahydrate form of Iron(II) Chloride having the chemical formula FeCl 2 -4H 2 O or Cl 2 FeH 8 O 4 . It is odorless and appears as light green hygroscopic crystals, or powder at room temperature. It is soluble in water and alcohol at ambient conditions. It can undergo thermal decomposition to emit corrosive and/or toxic fumes of Hydrogen Chloride gas and Metal Oxides. Laboratory grade is also known as the Chemically Pure (CP) and Laboratory Reagent (LR). Ferrous Chloride, Lab Grade is ideal for educational/training institutes, laboratory use, and commercial applications.
