Details
Triethanolamine 50% Lab Grade
Triethanolamine (TEA), commonly known as Trolamine, is a tertiary amine and a triol. It is a bifunctional molecule that can serve as both an alcohol and an amine. Trolamine contains trace amounts of diethanolamine and ethanolamine. It appears as a white greasy liquid with an ammonia like odor at ambient conditions. When exposed to air and light, it quickly absorbs water and turns brown. It is miscible with water, methanol, and acetone. In terms of heavy metals impurities, Triethanolamine, Lab Grade, 50% is highly pure.
