Potassium Acid Phthalate, Lab Grade, 0.10N

Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate, also known as Potassium Acid Phthalate, Potassium Biphthalate, Monopotassium Phthalate, and Phthalic Acid Monopotassium Salt, has the chemical formula C 8 H 5 KO 4 . Its 0.1N (same as 0.1M) solution appears as a colorless liquid and is slightly soluble in water at ambient conditions. Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate, 0.10N, Lab Grade solution is composed of ~2.04 wt.% of pure Potassium Hydrogen Phthalate in its aqueous solution. Lab grade chemicals possess reasonable purity but do not comply with any official standard for quality or purity like the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, or the FCC Grade. The Lab Grade is also known as Laboratory Reagent (LR) and Chemically Pure (CP).
