Silver Acetate Flakes, Purified

Silver Acetate, also known as Silver(1+) Acetate, Silver Monoacetate, Acetic Acid Silver salt, and Silver Ethanoate, has the chemical formula AgC 2 H 3 O 2 or C 2 H 3 AgO 2 . It appears as white to gray crystalline photosensitive flakes with no odor. It possesses moderate solubility in Water at ambient conditions. When heated to decomposition, it emits toxic fumes of Carbon Oxides and Silver Oxide. Purified Grade, also known as Pure or Practical Grade, refers to those high-purity compounds that do not fulfill the ACS, the USP, or the FCC grade requirements. They are mostly used in conjunction with Lab Grade chemicals.
