Hydrochloric Acid 28% Solution, Reagent Grade
Hydrochloric Acid, also known as Muriatic acid, Chlorohydric acid, and Acide Chlorhydrique, has the chemical formula HCl. It is formed by dissolving Hydrogen Chloride gas in Water and appears as a colorless to yellowish watery liquid with a sharp, irritating odor. It is soluble in Water and Ethanol at ambient conditions. Hydrochloric Acid, 28% Solution, Lab Grade contains ~28% by weight of pure Hydrogen Chloride gas dissolved in ~68% by weight of purified Water. Chemically pure or Laboratory reagents are the two terms often used to describe Lab Grade chemicals. Lab Grade chemicals do not meet any accepted quality or purity requirements such as the ACS Grade, the USP Grade, and the FCC Grade, despite their acceptable purity. Due to its high purity Hydrochloric Acid, 28% Solution, Lab Grade is highly recommended for labs and commercial applications.
