Mercuric Oxide Red Purified

Mercuric Oxide, also known as Mercury(II) oxide or Mercury oxide, appears as red or orange-red, odorless hygroscopic crystals, powder or scales having the chemical formula HgO. It is insoluble in Water and can undergo decomposition upon exposure to light/air into Mercury and Oxygen. Purified Grade, also known as Pure or Practical Grade, refers to those high-purity compounds that do not fulfil the ACS, the USP, or the FCC grade requirements. They are mostly used in conjunction with Lab Grade chemicals.
